The U.S. Supreme Court today ruled that federal subsidies in states using the federal health insurance exchange may continue. The 6-3 decision affects people in 34 states, including Wisconsin.

The U.S. Supreme Court today ruled that federal subsidies in states using the federal health insurance exchange may continue. The 6-3 decision affects people in 34 states, including Wisconsin, who risked losing their health care insurance without benefit of the subsidy. Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Anthony Kennedy joined the Court's more liberal justices in the majority opinion, with Justices Scalia, Thomas and Alioto dissenting.
